Theme: Origins
Who taught you to make this?
Ask where they stood in the kitchen, what they were told the first time, and what went wrong.
Theme: Holidays
What had to be on the table for the biggest celebration of the year?
The dish without which it simply was not the holiday.
Theme: Everyday
What did you cook most often when the children were small?
The meal that appeared every single week.
A new question is suggested every week, with an optional reminder — a notification on your phone, no account, no email.

Questions
Questions people ask before they download
Is it really free?
Your first five recipes are free, with a voice story for each and ten of the sixty questions. One payment unlocks unlimited recipes and cooks, the cookbook PDF, recipe cards and all sixty questions. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.
Where are my recipes and recordings stored?
On your phone only, in the app’s own storage. There is no account and no cloud. We never see them — which also means we cannot recover them, so please keep your phone’s backup turned on.
What happens if I delete the app or lose my phone?
Everything in the app is deleted with it, and there is no copy anywhere else unless your phone’s backup includes it. On iPhone, iCloud Backup includes the app’s data. On Android, backups are limited in size and may not include every photo and recording — check your phone’s backup settings.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, completely. The app never connects to the internet itself. Your app store is contacted only when you buy or restore the unlock.
Can I use my purchase on another phone?
Yes, on any phone signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account: open Settings → Restore purchase. A purchase on the App Store does not transfer to Google Play, or the other way round, because the two stores keep separate records.
How long can a recording be?
Up to fifteen minutes per story, and one story per recipe. You can pause while recording, and record again later to replace it.
Can I print the cookbook?
Yes. The export is a print-ready PDF — A4 or US Letter, a contents page, one recipe per page, fonts embedded. Print it at home or send it to any print shop.
Does the printed cookbook include the voice recordings?
Paper cannot play a voice, and the app never uploads anything, so the PDF marks each recipe that has a story and the recording stays in the app, where you can play it any time.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone with iOS 15 or later, and Android phones with Android 7.0 or later. It is designed for phones and runs in portrait.
Can I record someone without telling them?
Please don’t. Ask first — it is their story, and in many countries recording a person without consent is against the law. Our Terms of Service ask the same of you.
